How do I lease rights-managed photos from this site?
After you have found the image you want, please contact Lon Lauber Photography via email or phone.  Every photo price varies depending on the type of usage, size and circulation.

Can I buy photos directly from this site?
There are no royalty free images on lonlauber.com but individuals can purchase prints, t-shirts, coffee mugs and mouse pads with photos on them for personal use directly from this site. 

What is the easiest way to find the image I want?
There are five different ways to locate specific images on lonlauber.com.  One is to use the search, match all terms function. This will include every image that has all or part of the search word in the caption or keywords.  For example if you search for ice, you will also see images with practice and device...

Two is to use search, match any terms function.  This will net all possible variations of any word included in the search.  For example, if you search for both ice and hen in the same search, you will see images with ice and hen but you will also see images with practice, device, then, and when.

Three, is to use the search, exact terms function.  This feature will find only the exact matches in the keywords but not in the description.  For example, dog but not dogs. It is not case sensitive and we'll assume both you and I spell everything correctly!

Four is to visually find an image you like, then scroll down below that image, read through the keyword list and click on a specific keyword.  This will net the same results as doing a match all terms but saves the steps of typing in the word and clicking on go.

Five is to peruse the expandable menu on the left side of the site and visually search by subject categories and sub-categories.  Once you are within a specific sub-category, you can do a keyword search only within that sub-category.

What format are the photos in?
All Lon Lauber Photography photos on this site are watermarked, low-resolution jpgs. However, upon sale agreement, clients can request high resolution images in: jpg, tiff, psd or png file formats.

How Do I create a lightbox?
Create an account by clicking on Subscribe in the menu bar, fill out requested info.  

After making an account, go to My Lightbox located in the lower left side of the website page.

Create New Lightbox

Select this lightbox or previous ones you've made from the drop down menu.

Find and select the images you'd like by clicking on the + below each image.

Go back to my lightbox at lower left side of website.

Type in email address and message desire and hit go!


Do you add photos on a regular basis?
Yes. We add new, digital capture images shortly after each photo shoot. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that we have posted.  Also, I will continue to backfill my website photo selection from the best of my 120,000-photo slide library.

Can I submit photos to sell?
Right now the only photos that we sell are the ones created by Lon Lauber Photography. In the future we may consider adding other photographers' images to this site.

Are there any restrictions on my use of the Lon Lauber Photography photos that I download?
Yes. While Lon Lauber Photography offers great freedom and a wide variety of uses, that use is limited to the perimeters spelled out in the lease agreement.  We almost always lease one-time rights.  Additional usage requires separate negotiations and payments.
